Feasibility-Study-Report
The feasibility study for the Ethio-Kenya Cross-border projects was commissioned by Hoffnungszeichen | Sign of Hope e.V. (SoH) to assess the project’s viability. The study focused on 94,325 marginalized pastoralists and agro-pastoralists in Marsabit and Turkana Counties (Kenya) and South Omo and Borana zones (Ethiopia). SoH, supported by Spiritan Community Outreach Ethiopia (SCORE) and Caritas Marsabit, conducted the study under the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) budget. The study provided essential insights for developing the project concept, identifying risks, and finalizing the design, ensuring project quality and informing funding decisions.
